About Me

Istanbul born Turkish guitarist and composer, starting on classical guitar at the age of 15, then continues with rock and jazz guitar.
At the age of 16, starting to play with his high school band and won the "Best Performing Band of Turkey" award in a nationwide
music competition, performing a song by Al Di Meola.
As a self-taught musician, after intensive study of guitar and composition, he moved to England to improve his musical talent at
the age of 19. Afterwards musical journey continued in Germany and France.
Over the years, he has performed in Europe as an accomplished musician, playing with bands and styles like jazz, big band, rock,
blues, funk, soul, new age... aiming to expand his musical vision. He has performed in concert halls, Jazz and Rock clubs and at
festivals where world-renowned musicians also participated, including the Hyde Park Peace Festival (England), Monte Scherbelino
Jazz Festival (Germany), Akbank Art Center International Guitar Festival (Turkey) ...
Besides being an accomplished musician, Ersin also started composing music. In 2011, he recorded his first duo acoustic guitar album which consist of his own compositions called "Chasing The Voices", which has a different approach to jazz music, focusing on rich melodic structure and improvisations played with the same approach, inspired by impressions, emotions, memories and dreams on his musical journey. Acoustic album was released by S.k.y Music in Turkey and by Aliso Records in Germany.
In addition to the Turkish press, he was also noticed by European music press like "AKUSTIK GITARRE" one of the most important music magazines in Europe, album review summary from 2012 was "How amazing the relaxing effect of instrumentals by Turkish guitarist and composer Erhan Ersin... His playing is elegant, his tone is warm, dark colored and matured, his phrasing is extraordinarily enjoyable... Ersin is an interesting guitarist to keep an eye on..."
One of the world's leading handcrafted guitar companies "Jose Ramirez Guitars" founded in Madrid in 1882, has honoured Ersin as a Ramirez Guitar Artist by adding him to company's music library featuring careers and some grammy awarded Ramirez guitar players from around the world, for being impressed by his musical touch with masterful guitar technique and passion for the guitar. Following this valuable musical collaboration that began in 2014, he was honored with a special guitar by Jose Ramirez.
In 2016, he was also selected to the "Ambassadors" (representative guitar artist) list by "Schertler SA", one of the world's leading Swiss music companies, including world-famous jazz musicians such as Chick Corea, Charlie Haden...
In 2025, he also recorded a new album which consist of his own compositions called "Life Prints", which has a different approach to jazz music, with a style that blends different genres with jazz, focusing on rich arrangements, melodic structure and improvisations played with the same approach. The band consisting of electric guitar, keyboard, electric bass and drums.
Ersin is now working on his own music projects and performing in different countries with his acoustic guitar duo and band.
